How to Submit a Character:

1) Draw them! It can be any style, and either black and white or colour. Even if you're not a great artist, give it a shot! The artists participating in the impromanga will need to know what your character looks like, so try and include all the details. All pictures must be drawn by the person who owns and submits the characters. No using art from anime, games or other artists.

2) Tell us what they're like. If you'd like, you can use the profile below, but if you have another format you'd like to use - go for it. As long as it includes all the necessary information, any style is fine. Please don't use shorthand, and run it though a spelling and grammar check before you email it.

If everything checks out, I'll email you back letting you know and put it on the site soon. However, if there's a problem with it, I'll email you back letting you know what's wrong. If you want, you can fix your errors and submit it again later or try a new character.

Here are some tips to help you get approved:

- Make sure your character has a realistic past and personality. Avoid overly powerful characters, and Mary Sues/Gary Stus. Characters that are extremely antisocial are also looked down upon - but depending on the rest of their profile, still may get approved. Here is a test you can use to check your character.

- Be creative! Don't just rip off a popular anime or game.

- If you have poor spelling or grammar skills, send your profile to a friend, or show it to your family to get it proof read first. I am not going to edit your work - no matter how interesting the character is.

- Make sure your character fits the location. This manga will be set in a light fantasy setting. A futuristic or modern day character will not be accepted.
